half-timbering. |

original owner of this home had a medical degree, was
an ordained Baptist preacher, a journalist, and an editor.
In 1928, Dr. Cranfill was a candidate for Vice President
of the United States on the Prohibition ticket. He walked
daily to his office in downtown Dallas. |
