house built in Georgian style. Red brick. Overscale rondel
on second floor above entry portico.
One of the newer homes in the district, this Georgian
house was built on the site where the original 1917 structure,
which was also Georgian in style, once stood. The
first owner of the original home was W.E. Kingsbury.
THE SWISS AVENUE WOMEN'S GUILD
The magnolia was chosen as the Guild's symbol
because it represents Southern beauty and strength.
Owners of the homes depicted on this web site do not necessarily support
or are necessarily affiliated with the Swiss Avenue Women's Guild.
