Hip roof w/flat roof dormer; two rectangular openings
either side of shuttered oculus. Entry porch w/hip roof,
heavy brick piers and Doric columns. Banks of four windows
upstairs and down. Recessed one sotry porch on left (enclosed
subsequently). Recessed one sotry porte cochere on right. |

The first resident of this home was William Lyons, owner
of the Lyons Brothers Company, which manufactured
vinegar and such non-alcoholic beverages as "Muscadine
Punch" and "Mexican Hot." |
